연극 <세상에서 가장 아름다운 이별>(2006)으로 데뷔해 무대에서 연기를 시작했다. 연극 <셜록>(2013), <수상한 흥신소>(2013), <라이어>(2014), <옥탑방 고양이>(2015), <형제의 밤>(2016), <정의봉>(2018), <트리거>(2021) 등 꾸준한 무대 경험을 통해 탄탄한 연기 내공을 쌓았다.

관객들에 이어 대중의 마음도 사로잡았다. 드라마 <조선혼담공작소 꽃파당>(2019), <슬기로운 의사생활>(2020), <빈센조>(2021), <유미의 세포들>(2021), <유미의 세포들2>(2022) 등 다양한 작품으로 시청자들을 만났다.

<빈센조>에서 의협심 강하고 정도를 추구하는 난약사의 채신 스님 역으로 강렬한 인상을 남겼다. 오롯이 캐릭터 소화를 위해 삭발을 감행하는 열정을 보여줬을 뿐만 아니라 송중기, 전여빈 등 출연진들과 깨알 같은 케미로 극에 재미를 더하기도 했다.

<유미의 세포들>, <유미의 세포들 2>에서는 대한국수의 마케팅팀 대리 '한별'로 분해 독특한 패션과 능청스러운 면모로 많은 사랑을 받았다.

매번 새로운 얼굴로 대중에게 놀라움을 선사하는 권승우, 그의 무한한 가능성이 계속해서 펼쳐질 예정이다.

Kwon Seung Woo is an actor that has limitless potential.

He started acting with the theatre piece <The Most Beautiful Breakup in the World> in 2006. Throughout the years, he was on the stage with various theatre pieces such as <Sherlock>(2013), <Suspicious Detective Agency>(2013), <Lier>(2014), <Rooftop Cats>(2015), <Brother’s Night>(2016), <Jeong Weui Bong>(2018), <Trigger>(2021) which helped him to build solid acting skills.

After capturing the audience’s mind, he also captured the mind of the public. He met with the viewers with various dramas such as <Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency>(2019), <<Hospital Playlist>(2020), <VINCENZO>(2021), <Yumi’s Cells>(2021), <Yumi’s Cells 2>(2022) and other various shows.

In <VINCENZO>, he made a strong impression by playing a role as monk Chaeshin in Nan Yaksa Temple. Chaeshin was a character who expressed righteous indignation and who pursed a right path. To fully digest into the character, he showed a passion of shaving off his head. Not only that, but he also showed great chemistry with other actors like Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Been which added to the fun to the drama.

In <Yumi’s Cells> and <Yumi’s Cells 2>, he played a role of ‘Han Byeol’ who was a marketing team’s deputy section chief in Daehan Noodles. With a distinctive fashion and foxlike character, he received lots of love from the viewers.
